Following the civil conflict in the Glorious Micronation of Uberquisenberg that led to the two-state solution proposed in the Treaty of Essex, both the Kaiser of Uberquiesenberg, HIM Callum Newton I, and the leader of the United Provinces of the Dengie (UPD), Commander (formerly Field Marshall) Alejandro Whyatt, have released statements on their position in the upheaval.
Kaiser Callum Newton I:
“I find this revolt against our Glorious Micronation to be deeply disturbing, an attack we never expected from our closest allies in our armed forces. Mr Whyatt has betrayed our great peoples. However, in the interests of our great country, we have ended this war with high hopes for the future.”
Commander Alejandro Whyatt:
“The Parliament had a meeting (the Prime Minister, Kaiser Newton and Colonel Ponder of Bobland) that said that they were going to change the regime. They told none of the subjects, and the Armed Forces were angry, so they, under my command, took control of the country until we established our borders. I now have around 65% of the country.”
Neither the Lords of Mercia or Mercian Parliament House released a statement on the conflict.
